We started KiRi wishing to introduce local people truly good Japanese food that we enjoy in Japan. Our food is prepared using freshest possible ingredients and bringing the most out of produce is our core philosophy.

"Kiri" is a tree called "Paulownia" in English. In Japanese tradition, a Kiri tree was planed in garden when a girl was born, and then made it into a dresser or a chest as a wedding present when she gets married. It is also called "Princess Tree". Kiri trees are strong and fast growing.
